Direct Primary Care.
The way it was meant to be.

A real doctor who knows you, has time for you, and is actually reachable.

Well Woven is a Direct Primary Care clinic on the town line between Weaverville and Asheville, NC. Dr. Catherine Lok, D.O. is a board-certified family medicine physician.

Dr. Lok's goal is to keep your primary care primary.

The model is simple. You pay a flat monthly membership. Dr. Lok is your doctor. No insurance required, no long waits, no starting over with someone new every visit.

Well Woven offers you a home for your healthcare. Most people are used to leaving a doctor's appointment with more questions than answers and a list of specialists to chase down.

This is your place to ask questions and get answers. Labs and procedures can be done in-office, and we coordinate with and refer to specialists only as needed. So your primary care doc is the one who holds the whole picture of your health with you.

Good medicine comes from good relationship. This is conventional medicine practiced the way it was always supposed to work.

Well Woven. A doctor who holds the whole picture.

Meet Dr. Catherine Lok, D.O.

Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician in Asheville, NC

Dr. Catherine Lok, D.O. is a board-certified family medicine physician trained at A.T. Still University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Central Maine Medical Center, where she cared for patients through the full scope of family medicine, including the hardest years of COVID-19, and came out the other side knowing exactly what kind of practice she wanted to bring into the world.

She opened Well Woven because she believed primary care could be better. She sees patients across every life stage: chronic and complex conditions, preventative care, heart health, diabetes, LGBTQ+ affirming care. From pediatrics to end-of-life, and everything in between. Complexity is welcome here. So are you.

What Well Woven patients are saying…

The doctor I didn't know I was still allowed to hope for.

Dr. Lok is deeply collaborative. She walks you through options, shares the research, and offers her own perspective. You leave understanding why she's recommending something, not just what to do. She works for you in ways most doctors simply don't.

— Corey, Waynesville

This is what I always felt healthcare should be.

She listens to understand. She offers evidence-based treatments. The monthly membership fee is well worth the peace of mind I feel knowing I'm in great hands … I hope to continue our patient/doctor relationship for years to come. I highly recommend Dr. Lok.

— Adel, Leicester

I have honestly never met a medical doctor like her.

She combines excellent knowledge of science and medicine with deep, compassionate care. It has been a great comfort to experience medical care from her.
