In Person or Virtual? Both. 🌿

One thing patients often ask is whether appointments at Well Woven are in person or virtual. The answer is: both.

Your first visit is always in person. That allows us to get baseline vitals like blood pressure, do a physical exam, and establish care face-to-face. It helps build the relationship and gives me a fuller picture of your health from the beginning.

After that, many visits can be done either by video or in person — whichever makes the most sense for you and your life. Medication follow-ups, lab review, mental health check-ins, nutrition conversations, and many chronic disease visits often work great virtually.

Sometimes, though, an in-person visit is still important. Things like rashes, knee pain, abdominal pain, or anything needing a hands-on physical exam are usually better evaluated in clinic. Certain conversations — like end-of-life planning or serious new diagnoses — also deserve the space and presence of being together in person.

One of the benefits of Direct Primary Care is flexibility. Instead of forcing every visit into the same format, we can choose what works best for the situation and for you.
