Who we send Asheville people to that can’t afford health insurance but want some sort of coverage for medical disasters.

How much did you health insurance premiums go up this year? As a Direct Primary Care Clinic, we do complimentary meet & greet before patients sign on as monthly members. This year more than prior, people are telling us: they can’t afford health insurance or are not philosophically aligned with insurance so choose to forgo it.

As your Direct Primary Care clinic, we can take care of most of your medical needs, but what if a medical disaster strikes (ICU, ER, cancer)? We often talk about "Healthshares" with patients during our initial meet & greet when they don’t have health insurance. "Healthshares" are often cheaper and focused on prevention rather than treating diseases down stream.

Sharing below the link to have a conversation with Michael at Sharewize (think of them like an health insurance broker/free to talk to but for Healthshares). We are not finanally tied to them in anyway but we do think they do important work and share their information.
